(This discussion post is used in conjunction with EYPD Education courses. The purpose is to increase awareness on the specific topic that may coincide with courses.)
Do you think blended learning can really help a district, school, teacher and student (most important)? Can it be done? Do public or private schools want it? How do you implement a successful blended learning model? A blended learning model has to piloted in an education setting and slowly implemented as it is a big shift for teachers in this format. Having a good collaboration among teachers, curriculum and professional development leaders is critical to the success of the blended model approach. Creating PLCs on this topic for all stakeholders should also be at the top of the list. Putting in good communication guidelines with feedback will help greatly with the development and implementing.
